Understanding disability

by on   Monday, September 12th, 2016

Some people have difficulties which other people do not have. For example: some people have difficulty hearing, speaking, learning, or moving around in the same way as others. Such difficulties are called disabilities.About 7 out of every 100 people are said to have a disability.

Because of their disabilities some people have problems living their lives in the same way as others. It is difficult for them to do all the activities that other people do or they may do some activities in a different way.

With the help of training most persons with disabilities can do most of the activities that other people do, even if they do them differently or slowly.
